设色纸本立轴李霞（1871-1938），字云仙，号髓石子，抱琴游子，福建仙游赖店横塘村人，著名画家。幼年习画，兼修诗文书法，常为寺庙作壁画，名扬乡里。清光绪二十九年(1903年)，李霞到福州参加乡试，寓于西禅寺，作《古美图》，深得阁学陈宝琛赞赏。光绪三十四年，李随御史江春霖入京，在京师广交艺友，阅览历代画迹和西画，画艺大进，所作人物仕女，得到京师行家好评。所作《麻姑》尤为外国人所喜爱，称他为“麻姑李”。宣统二年(1910年)，李霞到南通、南京、上海等地举办个人画展，名震一时。民国3年(1914年)，《十八罗汉渡海图》被选送参加巴拿马全球博览会，获优等奖。我国名画家吴昌硕称赞李霞是“人物第一家”。民国12年，《函谷骑牛图》送往美国纽约参赛，再获优等奖。民国17年秋，东渡台湾，寓居新竹。
