Chinese Ming Dynasty (or earlier) Cast Bronze "Gu" Shaped Vase, each of the 3 sections with archaistic curls, Taotie Masks or Symbolic designs on a thunder-cloud background, 4 flanges to the middle and lower section, the neck with 4 cicada shaped leaf points. Height 10 1/2 inches (26.6 cm.) X width at mouth 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm.). Age related wear with traces of verdigris to dark patina, the base possibly reinforced.
