3 Chinese Early 18 C Blanc de Chine Cups; 2 in "Rhinoceros" shape with applied deer, crane, pine, Dragon, & branches of flowers, the third a simple but early wine or tea cup. Height of largest rhinoceros cup 2 3/8 inches (6 cm.) X ovoid width at mouth 4 inches (10 cm.). PROVENANCE: From King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur. The large cup in good condition, the middle with tiny chip to mouth and short related hairline, the small cup with a glaze flake.
