2 Chinese Longquan Celadon Porcelains, the first a rare Buddhist Yuan / Early Ming low bowl with an impressed Double Vajra to the inside center, glazed over the foot with an unglazed circle inside the base burned red in the firing; together with a double peach water dropper with a small bird perched on 1/2 peach, the whole peach with a hole to control the water flow. Diameter of low bowl 6 7/8 inches (17.5 cm.). Length of water dropper 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: Acquired from King Po Chai Antique Dealer, Upper Lascar Row, Hong Kong, 1965-1971; then by descent to the private collection of a California Restaurateur. Age related wear and short scratches to the surfaces and glazed foot, the bowl with a few small glaze gaps to inside burned red and 1 short hairline; the water dropper in good condition.
