In-12, half morocco, navy blue with corners, spine ribbed with small golden fleurs-de-lis, golden head, cover and back, untrimmed (P.L. Martin). ORIGINAL EDITION of the author's most famous collection. The perfectly preserved copy is enriched by a handwritten dedication signed by the author to the poet and critic Auguste Lacaussade, secretary of Sainte-Beuve, who, like Leconte de Lisle, was originally from Bourbon Island.
