此件仲芳掇球壶属同类壶式中的上品。整器比例完美，腹身饱满丰盈，胎色红润，烧结甚佳，堪为仲芳掇球壶中之典范。壶形制结构复杂，自壶盖至壶底的线面收放自如，非名手大家不能为，一弯流壶嘴出水爽利，壶钮圆润似珠，内部气孔外大内小呈漏斗状，盖墙长而直，利于茶汤浸出。壶底写刻“人在山阴道上行”。
