识文：水陆草木之花，可爱者甚蕃。晋陶渊明独爱菊，自李唐来世人甚爱牡丹……牡丹之爱宜乎众矣。
款识：周濂溪爱莲说。少泉先生属篆，岁次强梧之秋，邓尔疋写于红香炉岛上。
