此拍品呈帶蓋鼎式方爐造型，鈕蓋下方方口平整，口沿兩側立耳，頸部內收，每一面各飾一對夔龍紋樣，溜肩鼓腹，腹面遍佈花草紋飾，盡顯繁茂盛景，中心開光處刻畫周文王親至渭水邊請姜子牙出山的故事，只見姜太公穩坐釣魚台，身後的周文王和大臣則是畢恭畢敬以禮相待，頗具意趣。鼎底部立四實足，近腹部凸起兩道弦紋，整體氣質硬朗大方，雋秀挺拔。爐頂配蓋，蓋鈕呈狮形，腳踩繡球，張口長嘯，威猛兇悍，極具氣勢。此鼎式爐靜而不囂，形制落落大方，紋飾古樸典雅、寓意極佳。来源：藏家90年代购于纽约
