此两幅唐卡主要表现了苯教东方光明佛和苯教北方光明佛。两幅唐卡中，主尊皆居于画面正中，呈现菩萨装样貌，头戴五叶冠，面容庄严肃静，上身佩项链、臂钏、手镯等饰物，外披天衣，下身着多色长裙，双腿结跏趺坐，下呈莲花座。主尊身后为六拏具，座前为两大协侍菩萨。由五尊佛尊组成的法轮遍布于整个画面，在画面的最下方绘制有苯教怒相护法神灵和供养菩萨。唐卡画面布局规整，排布严谨，神灵众多但排布有序，一丝不乱。用色大胆，设色鲜艳，人物描绘生动，笔触精致细腻。尤为难得的是，整幅唐卡以珊瑚红色为底色、以彩色勾勒神灵，为彩绘唐卡中的珍贵类别——红唐，殊为难得。
