|此件金刚力士尺寸虽小，但造型充满了愤怒威严的力量，饱满贲张的肌肉与站姿的韵律感，均加强了造像整体的勇猛气势。这种金刚力士，应为一对，是一铺大型造像的胁持护法。参考著名的开皇四年铭董钦造铜鎏金阿弥陀佛像，高足方床上的阿弥陀佛，即有胁持二菩萨与二天王。参考纽约苏富比2004年拍卖的一对唐代鎏金天王力士像，无论尺寸形制，均同出一辙。来源：日本私人珍藏
