说明：原藏家1982年购于香港中桥国产百货有限公司。1977年林风眠由上海移居香港，居住于香港九龙弥敦道中侨国产百货公司楼顶货仓。中侨国产百货公司董事长孙城曾及时任该公司经理的林风眠堂弟林汝祥，多次为林风眠举办画展。
委托人购于2006年香港佳士得中国书画专场。

作者简介： 林风眠（1900～1991），初名凤鸣，又名绍勤，广东梅县人。1920年赴法国勤工俭学，先后入迪戎美术学院、巴黎高等美术学院学习，受业师杨西斯启迪，遂有沟通中西艺术之志向。1925年回国，历任北平国立艺专校长，杭州国立西湖艺术院院长，国立杭州艺专校长。1949年后，任上海中国画院画师，上海美协副主席。文革中受迫害，晚年居香港。
