香炉为四方冲耳式，束颈，下折出腹，四足精短，比例谐美，纤巧可爱。方口上一对冲耳，城门孔形，向上渐纤，至顶丰腴，粗细有致，和香炉方圆相继，十分妥帖。炉身起弦纹，延伸至底，将炉底均匀分档，线条圆弧流畅。底部中央铸龙纹，铜炉颈部一侧，镌铸“大明宣德年制”六字楷书款，甚为少见。皮色高古，包浆温润，宝光内蕴，古朴华美。
