H：4.8cm L：15.6cm 兩件Wt：336g 此杯為銀胎，造型為四瓣海棠形，杯內底部鏨刻高浮雕摩羯踏浪紋。在杯的外壁，對稱鏨刻兩只鳳鳥，一匹飛馬，及一只白虎的高浮雕神獸圖案，神獸通體鎏金，周圍鏨刻折枝花紋填底。銀盃造型是中國式的，但從杯內的紋飾來看，有著濃郁的外來文化色彩。從西元3世紀中葉開始，摩羯紋就出現在古代印度的雕塑、繪畫藝術當中，在佛教寺院建築的塔門中更是常見。摩羯紋隨佛教的東進而傳入中國。整件器物做工非常精湛，紋飾華麗，金光燦燦，華貴至極，是一件非常珍貴的文物。造型頗具異域風情，但卻是唐代流行的樣式——又一件展現當時開放包容、文化融合的珍寶。真的是海納百川，盛世景象！
