清代豇豆红瓷器是指一种高温铜红釉，用还原焰烧成，为清康熙时期铜红釉中的名贵品种。其基本色调如成熟豇豆的红色，故名。釉面上有深浅不一的蓝色斑点及绿苔，又称“美人醉”或“美人霁”，此器造型轻灵秀美，修胎规整，釉质匀净光亮。而苔点是在烧造过程中，由于氧化气氛的作用，在器身或口沿部位露出绿色或蓝色的替点，被认为是缺陷美的体现，也成了鉴定虹豆红的标尺。其实，苔点并非是虹豆红必不可少的标记。
