龚继先 1939年生于北京。擅长中国画，1963年毕业于中央美术学院国画系。师从李苦禅、李可染、叶浅予等，历任上海人民美术出版社编辑、副总编辑、总编辑，为大型古书画丛刊《艺苑缀英》主编、《中国美术全集》编委会委员、上海文史研究馆馆员等。代表作有《指墨瓶花图》、《鱼乐图》等，著有《龚继先画集》。
