其器形规整，整体无瑕无疵。可见其釉彩为鲜明的祭红釉，盖上纹饰可识，乃为荔枝纹是也。青花绘枝叶，着深沉艳丽，然有晕散，以可见有铁锈斑点形成，典型的宣德青花之特征；续观其底，款识乃双圈内书“大明宣德年制”六字楷书款，书写率意笔划而有力，书相时代特征鲜明。进而再察其釉色，白地釉色纯净而温润有加，包浆和润。
