|补子以多色捻金银线、孔雀羽捻线为主缂织而成。鹌鹑单足立于海水江崖之上，指日欲飞，四周围以祥云、蝙蝠等为背景，间饰暗八仙图案，缂金缠枝花卉纹边。文八品补子虽品级不高，然而流传至今却远远稀少过其它品级补子。况且使用孔雀羽捻线是十分珍贵稀有的工艺，可见此对补子当年的主人极其富贵。
