A standing bronze BuddhaThailand, Ayutthaya period, Late Sukhothai style, 17th century ADStanding on a lotus pedestal insamabhaṅga, both hands inabhayamudrā, with the monk's robes fanning out, wearing a belt around his waist with a center fold falling straight down between his thighs, and the head crowned by an uṣṇīṣa. Theuṣṇīṣa, the bulge on his head, is a symbol of his enlightenment and the thirty-second of the 32 main characteristics of the Buddha. On the back was originally a halo (now missing) as the ring suggests.H 70.5 cm
