Two 'sang-de-boeuf' red glaze brush potsEarly 19th century, China, Provenance: Collection of Peter Boode (1887-1972), by descent to the current owner. One with a contoured top rim, the other is stright-sided , both standing on three slightly raised feet. Not marked.H ca. 10.5 cm, D 12.3 cm, One was broken and repaired. The other pot in good condition (small hairline crack on inside rim) and no repairs. Some wear from age and use (a few scratches in the glaze).
