PROVENANCE: Sold with invoice dated August 3, 1929 from Robert's Chinese Art Inc, 150 East Ontario St, Chicago, Illinois to Leo Falk Wormser (1884-1934) Chicago native, a prominent figure in the city and art collector. After Harvard and the University of Chicago, he became a successful lawyer and the personal attorney of Julius Rosenwald, one of the richest men in the city’s history.
