The figure is portrayed facing left and has a broad forehead, aquiline nose, and strong jaw muscles. The intaglio is set in a gold finger ring of a flat-section hoop. The item has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
