此件台几为硬木精刻而成，用镂雕、浮雕工艺，因天然木势成器。作为洞石千镂白孔，怪松依石附生，其上松针繁密、树皮鳞列之态皆雕琢地栩栩如生，颇见刻者功力。自明末以降，士人文房用器常以天然质朴为佳，瘿木树瘤或奇松怪石皆可为案前佳品，此几以瘿木仿作古松洞石，生动细腻而可乱真，颇为难得。
