此器華美精湛，工藝卓絕，刀身鐵質錯金銀，工藝繁復，精美瑰麗，依稀可見金銀錯幾何紋飾，刀柄為此器菁華所在，純金打造，取材奢靡，且形成少見的幾何造型，柄首位純金圓雕雄鷹啄獸的形態，構思奇巧，精妙絕倫，雄鷹雙翼的羽毛施以嵌松石特殊技法呈現，色彩對比明顯，璀璨瑰美，堂皇氣韻。整器保存完好，狀態佳，觀其工藝應為當時貴族階級使用，等級頗高，值得珍藏。
