此件匜形水丞精铜而制，仿商周青铜匜造型，方侈口翘流，高圈足，兽首鋬，流、腹、足上起扉棱。觥身以回纹为地纹，中间腹部饰兽面纹，兽首鋬上饰方回纹，均仿战国时期铜器之装饰方法，全器造型古雅稳重，其间纹饰采用浅刻、浮雕使纹饰变化繁复精致，且不失古朴典雅之气，以追三代器物稳重大方、庄重静穆之风，为明晚期仿古铜器之精品。置于案上，可充文房陈设，更添古雅之气。原配铜勺。
