尺寸：直径27.5厘米、厚2厘米
大炉座以黄花梨制成，圆形，起鼓落堂，尺寸巨大，素纹，通体为深黄褐色，木纹细密梳致，油性极佳，包浆自然。明代文震亨在《长物志》中曾叙述器物配底，配盖的重要性， 说到：“古人鼎彝，俱有底盖，今人以木为之，乌木者最上，紫檀、花梨俱可…。”不仅是明清爱好收藏的文人，现在的老一辈的收藏家都明白“器座”的重要性，讲究“器物不落桌”，凡陈列玩赏之物，必配有底座，不能直接落于桌案之上。有老“器座”及包装的东西价格非常可能增值许多乃至翻倍。
