A Chinese Peach-Bloom Red Vase A Chinese peach-bloom vase Elegantly moulded with a depressed round shaped body, long and strong neck rising to a straight mouth, supported on a short slightly splayed foot with two nice drilled holes, the exterior applied with a deep-pink glaze called peach-bloom red glaze, the interior and the base glazed white. At the bottom inscribes Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi mark. In good condition. Height:21.5cm, Diam.11.8cm, Condition: Good condition, some wear commensurate with age. Comparison: compare to the similar vase collected in The Palace Museum (Beijing) Provenance: Previously from assets of Russell & Co., the American company in the Far East in the 19th century, founded by Samul Russell.
