正方形香盒，制作规矩严谨，盖面缘边起线，盖、身子母口以锡镶接，通体内外施八宝灰漆，盒内底中央圆形开光内饰三叶纹，盖面梅花一株自右下方横折而出，回转蜿蜒，分出细枝，盛开的梅花饱满，花簇聚集，或仰或背，花苞浑圆，三两一组，布局清爽，又有幼竹崭露头角，生气盎然。
宋著名理学家、思想家朱熹（1130-1200）在解释《易经》时曰：“王本说‘元亨利贞’为大亨利正，夫子以为四德，梅初生为元，开花为亨，结子为利，成熟为贞…”。古人赋梅花以四德，从花开结子的过程，领悟了阴阳转易的人生哲理。
