说明：阿弥陀佛面相端正，神态慈祥，唇角含笑。躯体健硕，胸部厚实，着袒右袈裟，衣纹流畅生动。全跏跌坐，双手置于腹前结禅定印，下承仰覆式束腰莲座，莲座上下缘饰细密联珠，莲瓣饱满有力，瓣端上翘。造像整体端庄大方，比例舒展匀称，形象生动传神，时代风格鲜明，极为精美。
阿弥陀佛为五方佛之一，位居西方，是主持西方极乐世界的教主。佛教传入中国后，阿弥陀佛以宏大的悲愿、美妙的净土世界和方便易行的修行法门，且佛教中的寿神如无量寿佛、度母等多与此尊有关，因此广受崇奉。
