款识：茂如先生属书。卅二年春，悲鸿。|钤印：徐悲鸿（朱） |识文：布衣暖，菜根香，诗书滋味长。||作者简介：徐悲鸿（1895～1953），江苏宜兴人。二十岁赴沪谋生时，结识高奇峰，书法得康有为亲授，曾入震旦大学学习绘画，并考察德、比、意国美术。1944年任中国美术学院院长，1946年任北平艺专校长，1950年任中央美术学院院长、中华全国美术工作者协会主席。毕生从事美术教育，奠定了以写实为基础的现代中国美术教育体系。著述颇多，有《徐悲鸿艺术文集》等。
