|笔身呈圆形，形体修长，上有盖，通体髹朱漆，复加剔刻。器身及笔盖两端环雕回纹为饰，盖身以锦纹为地其上轧雕诗文“依然留得 墨痕苍；”。笔身则装饰缠枝花卉纹，纹饰繁缛华美。由于漆制毛笔易损，保存不易，流传至今者实属凤毛麟角。此件雕漆工整别致，漆色纯正，制者以刀代笔，做工精细，图案文人意趣浓厚，有沈郁隽雅之态，当为明文房佳物。
