RARE JARDINIÈRE EN GRÈS ÉMAILLÉ FAHUAFin de la dynastie Ming (XVIe siècle - première moitié du XVIIe siècle) A RARE GREEN, OCHRE, TURQUOISE AND CREAM GLAZED 'FAHUA' JARDINIERE Late Ming Dynasty (16th/first half 17th century) The slightly everted walls applied around the exterior with demi-lune pie-crust ochre glazed scrolls, each centred with a high relief cream-glazed lotus flower crowned by a green and ochre-glazed bud emerging over the rim, alternating with cosmic green and ochre-glazed 'cosmic' mountains, all reserved against a green ground, the brown-glazed interior with a cream and green-glazed central aperture and foot, the underside green-glazed and incised with eight sections, all raised on eight turquoise-glazed foliate supports. 41.3cm (16 1/4in) diam.
