作者简介：金章(1884-1939)，女。号陶陶，亦称陶陶女史，南林女士，浙江吴兴人。金城三妹。幼嗜六法，花卉、翎毛无所不工，而尤精于鱼藻。自游学欧洲后，画益进。1920年金城等创办中国画学研究会于北京，章任画鱼指导，因撰《濠梁知乐集》，为专论画鱼之书，有辛酉(一九二一)自序。后有其子王世襄乙酉(一九四五)跋谓：“先慈四十五岁后潜心内典，自谓恐堕鱼趣，乃后不复执笔。”
