A rare figure of Winter from the Standing Rustic Seasons c.1760, modelled as an old man warming his hands before a flaming brazier resting on a branch, wearing a large coat over a flowered waistcoat and a striped neckerchief, raised on a scrolled footed base picked out in puce, turquoise and gilt, a little good restoration, 23cm.
