Royal Worcester Pilgrim Moon Flask Vase with black printed mark to base dated 1875 with gilder's mark and attributed to Christopher Dresser (1834-1904), the design with gilt stand and curved gilt handles, the body in imitation of Chinese Cloisonne with fine gilt lines surrounding the individual colors on a dark turquoise ground. Height 7 3/4 inches (19.5 cm.). NOTE: Around 1875, the date of this vase, Christopher Dresser is known to have produced thousands of designs for Royal Worcester, Minton & Co, Wedgwood and otherpanies promoting the Aesthetic Movement.
