Realistically carved, the bodhisattva is shown seated upon a rectangular plinth, with both feet resting on a lotus stand, wearing long and loosely draped robe cascades over the plinth, left hand in varada mudra, the face with heavy lidded eyes and full lips in a gentle smile, hair with tight curls, all supported on a trapezoid wood stand. Northern Qi/Sui Dynasty period.
