It originated from China during the Jiajing (1521-1566) and Wanli (1573-1620) periods of the Ming dynasty. The mark Changming Fugui is a popular ceramic mark during the 16th century, and most associated with Jiajing period. It appears on various blue-and-white wares, as well as Kinrade-style pieces.
