An Edwardianmemorative silver Admiralty Oar, Bombay and East Indianpany, unmarked, tapering form, with a crown finial, with various inscriptions, 'In the 50th Year Of The Reign Of Our Sovereign Lord King George The 3rd Whom God Preserve', 'In The 15th Year Of The Hon'ble Jonathan Duncan, Governor Of Bombay, Q.D.C.', 'In The 6th Year Of The Hon'ble Sir James Mackintosh, Recorder of Bombay, Q.D.C.' and 'In the Sheriffalty Of James Falconar Esquire By Whom This Was Made, 1810', the blade inscribed: 'Created (circa) 1670, Recognised by Crown Letters Patent 24th September 1726' and to the other side 'Eustace Ferrers Nicholson, Sheriff of Bombay 1907', length 20.7cm.
