A 19th century Indian Colonial silver mug, by Pittar and Co. Calcutta circa 1832, baluster form, leaf capped scroll handle, the body with chased foliate decoration, with a cartouche inscribed 'Olivia Sophia M Kie, 19 December 1832' and also later inscribed 'H.V.S 1949', gilded interior, on a circular foot, inscribed 'Pittar and Co. Old Court Street, Calcutta', height 9.5cm, approx. weight 7.5oz.
