Fine Chinese 18th Century 3 part White Jade & inlaid Black Wood Ruyi Scepter; the large top white jade plaque shaped as a Ruyi Head with a scene of a Boy bringing Peaches to an Old Scholar under a Pine Tree in a Mountain Landscape; the center quatrefoil plaque carved with Old Scholar holding Peach under Pine, and the bottom ovoid plaque well carved with Pomegranates and Leaves; the black hard wood inlaid with carved metal and shell; hole to bottom edge for tassel. Total length 22 inches (56 cm.). Width of large Ruyi shaped top plaque 5 1/8 inches (13 cm.).
