|王瓘（1847-？），字孝玉，一字孝禹，辛亥（1911）后以字行，书法家，清末民初书画家。四川铜梁（今重庆市铜梁县）人，韬养斋笔记作安徽桐城人，湖社月刊作天津人。由举人官至江苏道员，曾参端方幕，故所见颇广。工篆、隶书，精鉴别，富收藏。山水苍浑秀润，多得力于娄东二王（王鉴、王时敏）。光绪时以金石、书法名于时，小篆参有邓石如、赵之谦、杨沂孙诸家之长，近代出版的《中国书法》“篆书概述”中对其篆体书法评点是：“横粗直细，阔肩长足，媚气扬溢，篆法荡然矣”。其篆书有镇江焦山《王瓘等题名刻石》，行楷书有《宋拓麓山寺碑跋》《明拓孔羡碑跋》等传世。
