香盒纯金捶揲而成，棱花口，子母口相扣，外壁及盖面采用捶揲、錾刻工艺，此盖盒顶端在珍珠地上錾刻出鹦鹉瑞兽图，錾刻细致，形神兼具，纹饰立体感强。盖盒边沿以卷草纹为饰，极具装饰味道。盖盒工艺精细，小巧雅致，实为难得。本司曾于2021年春拍拍出一件宋 纯金錾花开光双螭龙花口盖盒造型与本品相似可作参考；伦敦邦瀚斯2018年11月8日欧宗易藏早期铜器专场，编号006，辽金锤揲双狮花草纹盖盒（一对）与本品相似，亦可作参考。
