此碗侈口，弧腹，圈足，胎质细白，釉色莹润，器型规整，外壁以青花绘缠枝莲托宝纹，属佛教装饰题材，寓意吉祥。
八宝是藏传佛教中象徽吉祥的器物，又称为“八吉祥”。瓷器装饰始于元代，流行于明清两代，元代时其排列尚无固定顺序，至明代早期，其排列已有一定规律，通常以轮、螺、伞、盖、花、罐(瓶)、鱼、肠(结)为序排列。当时蒙藏贵族的宗教信仰相合，故而在高级瓷器上时有绘画
