The elegant and simple looking watch encompasses a combination of two rare complications - tandem mainspring barrels for 10 day power reserve and a tourbillon both of which traditionally take a great deal of space. To allow the watch to run for 10 days, Patek Philippe's watchmakers took 3 years to develop a new tourbillon movement. Encased in a triple-stepped platinum case with strong Art Deco vibes, this model embodies the notion on haute horlogerie. The present example is in like new condition, the introduction of the 10 day tourbillon was seen as the pinnacle of watchmaking and is still considered as a modern classic today.
