A GILT ENAMELED POWDER BLUE PORCELAIN PLANTER OF OCTOFOIL FOLIATE SHAPE CHINA, POSSIBLY QING DYNASTY It rests on four lingzhi-shaped legs and has a faceted round body of foliate shape, imitating a chrysanthemum flower. The base has a central hole. It is all covered with a dark blue enamel against which gilt has been used to depict ruyi fungus, garlands, lotus and flying bats with knots and chime stones.
