A BRONZE PLAQUE DEPICTING A TANTRIC DEITY Tibet, ca. 19th ct. H. 15,3 cm (o. S.) The solid plaque is cast with a tantric divinity seated in rajalilasana on a lotus-base, the left foot placed on a lotus flower issued by the main base, the principle hands holding cakra and lasso, the other six arms radiating around the body with the hands holding various attributes, wearing dhoti, scarf floating around the shoulders, bejewelled, the central face with wrathful expression, flanked by three other faces, the hair combed in a chignon secured with a tiara and placed against a flaming halo, the reverse with short inscription.
