After attending the Vietnam Institute of Fine Art, he spent some time as a bomb diffuser in the Vietnam army, teaching art to his fellow soldiers. His highly regarded artworks have been exhibited across Vietnam and overseas. Chuong is also seen as a key member of the new movement known as 'The Vietnamese Art Movement', that aims to move away from the old French-influenced style to forge Vietnam's own artistic identity.75 x 57cm overall.
