作者简介:金心兰(1841-1909后)，名湅，字心兰，又署阿心，号冷香、瞎牛，别号冷香主人等，江苏苏州人。工山水、花卉，画梅尤具特长，晚年病目，失视复明后画益疏古。为海上近代六十名家之一。
顾鹤逸(1865-1930)，名麟士，字鹤逸，自号西津渔父，别署西津、鹤庐、筠邻。元和(今江苏苏州)人。 清末著名书画收藏家顾子山(名文彬、晚号艮龠、道光21年进士)之孙。父顾廷烈精鉴赏、好玺印，曾集拓新收旧藏自编《画余龠印存》。顾鹤逸擅画山水，亦精鉴别，秉承先志，广事搜求，使“过云楼”所藏书画更为丰富。有《过云楼书画记》详为述录。涵濡功深故笔多逸气，尤长临古。其家怡园别业，水木清华，尝与契友会画其中。
