At the base is a six-character rectangular seal made in the mold. 大明宣德年制 "Made in Xuande of the Ming dynasty". It is a type of incessant that receives the name of 马槽炉 "Macáo lú" which can be translated as "manger-shaped censer". It is characterized by having a rectangular body with sharp edges and two handles made up of an L, attached to the trunk. Making this shape is a test of skill, rather than the rounded shapes. It is supported on four angular feet, located in the corners. The thickness of the piece is approximately 7 mm and it is heavy.
