|觚铜质，八方体，整体大致分上中下三个部分，每段八个折面均以珍珠纹为地铸饰花卉，外壁八棱均出戟。其中上部作喇叭状，厚体撇唇，内饰双线折棱，外八面设蕉叶形开光，开光内铸饰梅花、兰花、桃花等八种折枝花卉纹，中部铸饰折枝石榴、桃子、葡萄、柿子莲藕八种等果实，下部呈覆喇叭状，八面铸饰兰草、牡丹、菊花、芙蓉等八种折枝花卉，下承八方直壁浅圈足，平底，底中央铸有长方形“大明宣德年制”阳文楷书款。明清时期，由宫廷兴起的仿古铜器之风盛行。所铸铜器多法商周鼎彝之器，取其形并注入时代审美特征。此花觚当取商周早期花觚形制，造型粗壮敦实，铜材精纯，模范雕刻精微尽巧，錾刻细致工整，由出戟厚重，于灵秀之中尽显挺拔刚毅气质。
