说明：清代在制定服饰典章时借鉴历代朝服佩玉礼制，将佛教的念珠定为穿着礼服时的佩戴饰物，称之为朝珠。凡文官五品、武官四品以上者得以佩戴，又妇女受封在五品以上者同。朝珠成为清代特有的冠服配饰之一，其质料考究，配戴亦有规定。皇帝朝珠，惟祀天以青金石为饰，祀地珠用蜜珀，朝日用珊瑚，夕月用绿松石，杂饰惟宜。绦皆明黄色。
此挂朝珠蜜蜡质地，珠圆浆润，色泽沉雅，配置完整，带翡翠隔珠，坠角等挂饰，宫廷气息浓厚。
